On July 3, “Scholar Who Walks the Night” revealed stills of Lee Yoo Bi, who plays Cho Yang Seon, walking in on Changmin (as crown prince Lee Yoon) spending the night with a gisaeng, which is the Korean equivalent of a geisha.
In the stills, Yang Seon, who has cross-dressed as a man, heads to the gisaeng house in search of a customer when she meets the crown prince Lee Yoon. She accidentally catches him drawing a sensual book and is flustered about that, but the prince is reminded of someone from his childhood upon seeing Yang Seon.
Lee Yoon is in only his undergarments and has his shirt open and is very focused on producing this book, showing that he’s a playboy like no other. However, his fiery gaze at Yang Seon as she walks in on him is as charismatic as ever.
“Scholar Who Walks the Night” staff said, “Yang Seon and Yoon will have an unlikely first meeting. The cross-dressing book seller Yang Seon and Yoon, who is hiding his identity as a prince, will be brought together in the first meeting through the indecent book.” They added, “We ask for a lot of interest in what will happen between Yang Seon, who sees the scene but deals with it smoothly and Lee Yoon, who watches this cute side of Yang Seon intently.”
Meanwhile, MBC’s “Scholar Who Walks the Night” is a fantasy melodrama revolves around the vampire scholar Lee Sung Yeol (played by Lee Jun Ki). The first episode is set to air on July 8 at 10 p.m. KST.
