[NEWS] 120417 TVXQ Drew 165,000 People in Tokyo Dome For 3 Days!

TVXQ has successfully concluded their 3 day live performances at Tokyo Dome today. One concert at Tokyo Dome draws in about 55,000 bringing the total to be about 165,000 for 3 days. It’s been about 11 years since a foreign artist held a three consecutive day performances at Tokyo Dome, TVXQ is the third group following the late Michael Jackson (1988), and Backstreet Boys (2001).

This being Yunho’s second Tokyo Dome performance in 3 years shared about the surprise event from fans on the 2nd day thinking this is Tokyo Dome and it’s been a goal to perform at Tokyo Dome since his debut.

Tokyo Dome is part of Japan nationwide tour ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2012: Tone’ that kicked off in January at Yokohama. Last month the group concluded the arena performance at Saitama Super Arena for 3 days. TVXQ’s largest-ever tour will be concluded following Tokyo Dome performance on April 14-16 and Kyocera Dome on April 21-23.

TVXQ proved their popularity as the additional Tokyo Dome concert ticket that was released on April 1 were all sold out with 30 seconds. The 3 day performances have many guests that include BoA, After School’s Kahi, K-Pop artist senior, as well as from Japanese entertainment industry as well.

Fans formed a ‘red ocean’ waving their red glow sticks during the live performances and duo became one with their fans during the last 3 days. The red ocean wave is to continue on to this weekend at Kyocera Dome.

The photo on the top shows TVXQ’s well-known ‘red ocean’ in Tokyo Dome and bottom photo shows the fans surprise event changing the glow sticks to white forming a ‘white ocean’ on the 2nd day of the performance.

[NEWS] 120417 ‘Rooftop Prince’ to Air Three Episodes This Week

In an attempt to secure its newly-acquired #1 position in the Wednesday-Thursday primetime drama war, SBS has decided to air 3 episodes of ‘Rooftop Prince‘ this week!

‘Rooftop Prince’, MBC‘s ‘The King 2 Hearts‘, and KBS‘s ‘Equator Man‘ all started airing in the same week, but ‘The King 2 Hearts’ came out on top in the ratings war within the first few episodes. However, in the last fortnight, ‘Rooftop Prince’ has managed to edge in front to claim the top spot.

Last week, despite failing to keep its promise of broadcasting back-to-back episodes due to the general elections coverage, ‘Rooftop Prince’ still managed to hold onto first place.

To solidify their lead and reward viewers, ‘Rooftop Prince’ will air Episode 8 on April 18th as scheduled, followed by back-to-back episodes (9 & 10) on April 19th.

[NEWS] 120417 TVXQ Makes History With Tokyo Concert Series

From April 14 through 16, TVXQ’s TVXQ Live Tour 2012 – Tone took place in Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. The Tokyo leg of TVXQ’s tour attracted approximately 165,000 people over the course of three days.

Following the concert’s run, Japan’s Sankei Sports revealed the group had made history as it reported, “An overseas artist holding concerts at the Tokyo Dome for three consecutive days is the first in eleven years after Michael Jackson and Backstreet Boys.”

In addition, TVXQ’s upcoming fan event in Saitama in June and Kobe in July is expected to attract some 100,000 individuals, which will make it the largest fan club event in Japan thus far. The fan club events in Saitama will take place on June 30 and July 1 and on July 7 and 8 in Kobe.

At the concerts, the duo performed a total of 25 of their best tracks to the thunderous reaction from fans. TVXQ will next move on to the final leg of its tour in Osaka, where it will hold concerts from April 21 through the 23.

[TRANS] 120416 Scene Of JYJ Kim Junsu’s Recording Revealed, Kim Jaejoong Directing With The “Aura Of A Composer”

A photo revealed of JYJ’s Kim Junsu in the process of recording for his studio album has been attracting attention.

On 16 April, 7 photos titled “Junsu & Jaejoong Studio” were uploaded onto JYJ’s official Facebook account. In some of the photos, Kim Junsu is seen in the recording booth, while Kim Jaejoong is seen directing.

Previously, C-Jes Entertainment released the news that Kim Junsu would be releasing his solo studio album, and also stated that the members’ compositions would be included. Aside from giving Junsu songs as a present, Kim Jaejoong also assisted by directing the production process, showing their friendship.

On another note, Kim Junsu will be holding an event for his first studio album at the Jamshil Gymnasium on 19 and 20 May. Following this, he is preparing to tour 6 Asian cities including Thailand and Macau.

TVXQ has certified their status as legends in Japan with their latest performances at the Tokyo Dome.

From April 14th through the 16th, TVXQ held their ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2012 – TONE‘, at the prestigious Tokyo Dome. The three day concert recorded over 165,000 audience members in attendance, a feat that hasn’t been achieved in 11 years!

Japan’s Sankei Sports reported, “The only foreign artists to have held concerts for three consecutive days at the Tokyo Dome were the late Michael Jackson and the Backstreet Boys. TVXQ has become the third name to make the list by achieving the record for the first time in 11 years.”

TVXQ performed a total of 25 hit tracks, and reporters were quick to point out that the boys looked extremely grateful for the support their fans showed. Yunho had stated, “We’re going to work even harder from here on out. We ask for your continued support.”

On April 17 Sankei Sports reported that TVXQ will open a fan club event that will house nearly 100,000 fans. It will be the largest fan club held in Japan. From April 14-16 TVXQ held their “TVXQ Live Tour 2012-TONE” concert at the Tokyo dome. The concert amassed 165,000 fans in total. The fan club event was announced on the last day during the April 16 concert.

During TVXQ’s Tokyo dome concert, they performed 25 songs that included “STILL.” Yunho stated during the concert, “I feel good today because I became one with all of you. TVXQ exists because you do.”

The TVXQ fan club event will be held at the Saitama Super Arena on June 30 and July 1. Then it will be held at the Kobe World Memorial Hall on July 7 and July 8. The event will be held a total of 8 times.

Today was the first day of the Tokyo Dome performance for “Tohoshinki LIVE TOUR 2012~TONE~”! It has been 3 years since they have performed here as Tohoshinki! They were conscientious, even in their dance rehearsals.

And they are pumping up for the actual show. As usual, everyone forms a circle, and promises to make today’s stage a success!
The team came together and challenged the first day of the Dome performance, which had power and great things (laughs)as well, and it was an enjoyable and great live! Everyone who came despite the bad weather, thank you very much!

At the fanclub booth, we had the venue-exclusive refer-a-friend campaign going on! As you can get a postcard that was hand-autographed by the members, please come to the booth for this chance.
