JYJ has captured the hearts of our noble ladies from all over the world.

On the afternoon of the 27th, JYJ were invited to perform at the Nuclear Security Summit event that took place at the Blue House (presidential palace). They performed two songs, ‘In Heaven’ and ‘Be My Girl’; entertaining the eyes and ears of the guests at this event.

A spokesman commented, “JYJ are a unique group that have taken steps forward into Asia and North America, Europe, and even South America. The reaction from all the first ladies and the spouses were so great that I, as part of the planning team, am very thankful. It was a unique opportunity to show the world how great kpop is.” The guests that attended this event were from Gabon, Nigeria, Republic of South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, Switzerland, Singapore, Italy, India, Indonesia, China, Chile, Philipines, the United Nations, and the European Union, and their spouses were said to have been watching the concert with smiles on their faces throughout the performances.

JYJ commented, “We are very happy to have presented the greatness of Korea to the first ladies of great world leaders on this meaningful stage. After finishing our world tour, we were thrilled with the chance to further the prestige of our country and although it was a short time, we hope this will become a good memory of Korea for all the guests.” The first ladies of Switzerland, Vietnam, Philippines, Chile, and Republic of South Africa caught the attention as they asked to take a commemorative photo with JYJ after their performance. The first lady of Korea even spoke to Yoochun and said, “I’m very much enjoying your drama ‘Rooftop Prince’.”

JYJ recently had concerts in Chile and Peru, finishing their world tour in South America on the 15th, and for the time being are focusing on solo activities such as dramas and musicals.

TVXQ’s “Still” will be released in South Korea on March 28. There will be two different versions, a CD+DVD version and a CD version. “Still” was released in Japan on March 14. “Still” reached #1 on the Oricon Daily Single Chart. The song was responsible for TVXQ to reach #1 on the weekly single chart 10 times for the first time as a foreign singer. This has never happened during Oricon’s 45 year history.

The CD+DVD version will contain “Still,” “One More Thing,” and the instrumental versions for both songs. The DVD will have the music video for “Still.” (“One More Thing” was the OST for the Japanese BeeTV drama “The Reason I Love You, the Other Stories”)

The CD version will have one more song which is a new version of “One More Thing” that contains string instruments for the background music.

Currently TVXQ is in the middle of their Japanese tour “TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2012~ TONE” that will go through 11 Japanese cities and have a total of 26 concerts.

Some pictures of the cast members of SBS TV’s drama series The Rooftop Prince were released.

The Rooftop Prince started airing on March 21 and is entertaining the viewers with its funny story. What especially attracts people’s attention is the set full of laughs.

Playing the role of Park Ha in the series, Han Ji Min said she always made mistakes because of the three actors playing handsome servants.

In the pictures, the cast members are smiling or laughing in the middle of shooting. It clearly shows the set in a friendly mood.

One of the production crew said, “The atmosphere on the set is very good. Because the genre of the series is romantic comedy and the cast members are all very close, the set is always full of laughs. After the first episode aired, our teamwork became even stronger. We’re really having fun although the shooting schedule is quite tight.”

In the last episode, the prince Lee Gak (played by JYJ’s Yoo Chun) saw a picture of Yong Tae Yong, who looked like him, and Yong’s grandmother Yeo (played by Ban Hyo Jung) met Lee. The next episode of The Rooftop Prince will air on March 28 at 9:55 p.m.

On a recent airing of a news segment on OBS, music professionals highly praised the singer, talking about his silky smooth vocals, conveyance of emotions, and his celebrity-like presence.

Idol group JYJ performed for many of the First Ladies of the world.

On March 27th, JYJ was invited to the ‘Nuclear Summit First Ladies’ Event‘ at the Blue House, and performed their hit songs, “Be My Girl” as well as “In Heaven“.

The First Ladies came from Gabon, Nigeria, South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, Switzerland, Singapore, Italy, India, Indonesia, China, Chile, The Philippines, countries in the United Nations, the European Union and more, The First Ladies reportedly enjoyed the performance, maintaining a smile on their faces throughout the event.

According to JYJ’s representatives, the first ladies from Switzerland, Vietnam, The Philippines, Chile, and South Africa stayed after the performance was over to take a photograph with JYJ.

Korean First Lady Kim Yoon Oak greeted Park Yoochun personally, saying, “I am enjoying your new drama ‘Rooftop Prince‘.”

The publicist of the event planning committee remarked, “All the First Ladies, including Kim Yoon Oak responded positively to the performance. This has been another opportunity to spread more K-POP awareness all over the world.”

The JYJ members remarked, “We are so glad we have been invited to such a meaningful event, sharing Korea’s excellence with the first ladies of the world. On March 27, JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun tweeted, “I miss you/him [pronoun-less].” Several hours later, his brother Park Yoo Hwan replied, “I miss you/him too.” Both Park Yoo Chun and Park Yoo Hwan’s tweet were pronoun-less, leaving fans to guess as whether they were talking about each other or their deceased father. Regardless, netizens wrote, “It’s nice to see the two so close,” “Please cheer up Park brothers,” “Beautiful, caring brothers,” and more.

Moments before his tweet, Park Yoo Chun also wrote, “Two hours to relax. It’s peaceful. Both the sky and my heart,” and attached a photo of the serene sunrise, reassuring fans that he was slowly recovering.

It is being said that because Park Yoo Chun is the main character, he appears in various scenes. However, there is never a cut because he could not memorize his lines. SM Entertainment, one of Korea’s largest entertainment companies, has recently announced that it would be issuing approximately $881,000 worth of new shares for its artists. As a part of their capital increase through a third party allotment, SM Entertainment artists will become major shareholders of the company, thereby effectively owning a piece of their company.

On March 26th, SM Entertainment announced the plan through DART Financial Supervisory Service, which will provide SM artists Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girl’s Generation, SHINee, f(x), Go Ara, and more of approximately $881,000 worth of SM Entertainment stock.

SM Entertainment will issue 22,120 new shares of stock with each individual share valued at 44,550 won (approximately $39 – $40 USD) each.

Kangta, BoA, and most of the Super Junior and Girls’ Generation members will be receiving 680 shares each (value of around $27,200 for each member), while SHINee and f(x) members will be receiving 340 shares each (value of around $13,600 for each member).

SM Entertainment released a statement saying, “This capital increase represents a strengthening partnership between the company and its artists, and we hope that as shareholders, our artists will share and take part in the vision and growth of the company.”

They continued, “We are expecting a global growth of the company through this renewed partnership with the artists.”

On 23 March 2012, the Asian (Pop) Music Festival was held at the Hong Kong Convention Center, and popular artists from various Asian countries competed for their dreams.

Given the opportunity to see representative artists from 7 countries and regions in Aisa, many fans gathered around the venue since much earlier on. Hallyu stars TVXQ visited Hong Kong.

When TVXQ, who was visiting Hong Kong to participate in the “2012 Hong Kong Asian Pop Music Festival” on 23 March, arrived in Hong Kong, they met with the fans who had swarmed the airport to see them. It is not easy to see TVXQ in Hong Kong since they mainly have activities in Korea and Japan.
