JYJ’s Kim Junsu is said to have an unusually passionate eagerness to try out new cuisines from around the world.

According to a representative, Junsu is not scared of trying out dishes that he hasn’t encountered before. Instead of eating a large quantity or not being fussy about his food, Junsu is said to be enthusiastic about trying out the cuisine of each country he visits. It is said that he doesn’t hold back, even with food that most people would hesitate to try. This is an added bonus for him as it is a requirement for stars on world tours that most have a hard time accepting.

The representative stated, “Junsu enjoys, and believes it’s important to, try out food that represents each country he visits, whether it’s sold on the street or in restaurants. Because he believes that a nation’s food represents it’s culture, he never forgets to try out new dishes when he visits a country.” They also added that, “International fans are very happy to see this side of Junsu.”

Meanwhile, Kim Junsu is on his world tour as a solo artist. Starting in Seoul, he performed in Asian countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan and China and is planning to hold concerts in two to three cities in North America, South America and Europe. He is also preparing a repackaged version of ‘XIA – TARANTALLEGRA’, with new English songs to go along with his world tour.
