Recently the fact that JYJ had gone to get their bodies examined for the purpose of enlisting in the army has been a topic for discussion. A representative from the management said that YooChun and JaeJoong got their bodies examined on Feb 14, while Junsu had gotten his examined a week earlier. But them getting their bodies examined does not mean that they plan to enlist in the army. He said,"As JYJ are still involved in their activites, they will not be able to enlist straight away, but the 3 of them definitely wish to go to the army." Also, "As YooChun has asthma, it is probable that he may have to be re-examined again."

SEOUL: Korean pop trio JYJ is one step closer to their goal of extricating themselves from a 13-year contract with former employer, entertainment giant SM Entertainment, after a court victory on Thursday, reported Korean media.
SM Entertainment had previously filed an objection against an earlier court decision, which deemed the contract between the company and JYJ unfair and ordered SM Entertainment to stop interfering in JYJ's activities.
The company claimed that it was illegal for the courts to prevent SM Entertainment from pursuing its interests, as laid out in the exclusive contract between the company and JYJ members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yuchun and Xiah Junsu (all former members of SM Entertainment's boy band Tong Vfang Xien Qi).
However, Korean courts dismissed SM Entertainment's objection and upheld its October 2009 ruling that the trio are free to go about their activities without having to pay any damages to SM Entertainment as the contract between them was unfair.
Korean courts pointed out that the 13-year contract duration and clauses which heavily penalized artistes who wanted out of the contract, "could not be justified by the investment risk undertaken by the company" for signing the artistes.
The courts also turned down SM Entertainment's request to suspend JYJ's contract with their current employer CJES Entertainment, explaining that the request was submitted at a time when the court order for SM Entertainment to leave JYJ alone was still in effect, which made the request invalid.
After the court victory, CJES Entertainment Baek Chang Ju expressed that he was overjoyed JYJ will "no longer be plagued by accusations of double contracts" and thanked JYJ fans for their support.
JYJ member Xiah Junsu also tweeted that he was very grateful to the fans for "not letting go" and giving JYJ the strength to keep going.
An SM Entertainment spokesperson told Korean media that the company is still working to prove that its contract with JYJ is valid and that "the legal battle between SM and JYJ is not yet over".
On February 17, Prain Inc. announced that JYJ will hold a fan meeting on March 12. The fan meeting, exclusive to those with official C-JeS membership, will take place at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium, which has a seat capacity of about 13,000. JYJ will have performances as a group as well as several solo performances. The trio will also talk with their fans and special guests.
CEO Baek Changju stated that the fan meeting "will be the group's first present to their fans" since C-JeS registration opened on February 14. He expressed his hopes that the fan meeting be "memorable for [JYJ's] fans." The CEO also promised, "We will work hard to set up more events for JYJ to meet their fans."
Happy Birthday, Changmin! Hard to believe we're the same age. Dude, we're getting old! Well, the maknae of TVXQ has come a long way over the years since his 2003 debut, and fans across the world have witnessed him grow up right before our eyes. Like I said in all my member DBSK member videos, I'm leaving the new TVXQ and JYJ material, because I'm saving them for a future video. Thank you all for watching. Please continue to "like", comment, and/or subscribe. And also, please, check out my many other works. :)

TVXQ’s Max Changmin will be celebrating his 24th birthday (February 18th) together with his fans for the first time since the group’s debut eight years ago.
Although he was unable to celebrate his 23rd birthday last year due to his hectic schedule for the filming of his drama, “Paradise Ranch“, this year Changmin gets to celebrate his birthday comfortably while fulfilling promotional activities for TVXQ.
On the morning of his birthday, Changmin first visited a radio station where he guest starred on a radio show, then he quickly rushed to prepare for TVXQ’s performance of “Keep Your Head Down” on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank”.
Changmin is scheduled to meet his fans on a more personal level shortly after his “Music Bank” performance to celebrate his birthday.
Having had SHINee’s Onew MCing for Yunho’s birthday fan meet, fellow member Minho will be taking the MC role for Changmin’s birthday party.
Meanwhile, TVXQ are currently preparing for their next round of promotions with a follow-up track once they wrap up activities for “Keep You Head Down”. It was revealed that their follow-up track will be part of their soon-to-be-released repackaged album.
Park Yoohwan has started practicing acting with his brother, JYJ's Park Yoochun. For "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," Park Yoochun took acting lessons and is now teaching what he learned to his brother Yoohwan, who will be making an acting debut in MBC's "Shiny Shiny Shining."
Yoohwan stated, "Hyung has a lot of experience being on shows, so he's very confident. On the other hand, I don't even know. I can't do anything because I'm shaking."
Park Yoochun starred in last year's drama, "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," as Lee Sunjoon. The drama received much acclaim and captured the hearts of many female viewers. Yoochun was so into his character that he still used Old Korean speech at home. Yoohwan revealed, "Hyung uses the same speech as Lee Sunjoon at home. He also does actions like a historical person. Hyung doesn't look like an famous celebrity at home."
While studying acting in real life, Yoohwan started dreaming about learning acting. Acting wasn't an easy task. Watching his brother in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," Yoohwan gave himself strength and said "I can [act well] to that degree too," but there were no opportunities for him. Fortunately, he received the chance to start acting after participating in an audition and eventually landed a role with MBC.
In "Shiny Shiny Shining," Yoohwan will play Lee Seowoo, an American-raised man whose heart is full of agony yet he keeps it to himself and would never reveal his inner thoughts to anyone. Yoohwan expressed his connection with this character, "The character is similar to me. I suffered much pain due to racism when I lived in America. I lived my life brightly with my family at home, but I was a dark child when outside."
Yoohwan wishes to study acting more and humorously stated, "Someday, I want to stand on the same stage as my hyung. It will be more interesting if [our characters] are rivals. Of course, I want to win in the movie." Despite saying this like a joke, Yoohwan demonstrated his competitive side by firmly stating, "I want to beat my hyung in acting."
JYJ's Jaejoong and Junsu have tweeted their thanks to fans following the court ruling against SM Entertainments injunctions.
On February 17, Junsu tweeted, "To our fans, who helped us not let go of and kept us holding on till the end to.. the string that was so shaky and unstable.. Because we had you, who would tend to the skin that bled and got infected as the string dug into our skin, we were able to hold on to the string till the end.. From the bottom of my heart.. Thank you."
Two hours later, Jaejoong said, "It feels like we will keep endlessly clashing with something that cannot be seen with these clashes being covered up.. But today, at this moment, all I feel is breathless from the gratitude that I have for so many people.."
