"U-Know Yunho's girlfriend? No. We're just good friends."

Actress Lee Seon Ah laughed loudly and waved off the remark. At the slighly awkward question 'You seem to be close with U-Know Yunho?', she smiled and began talking.

"Yunho and I are hometown friends. I knew him until I was in college but we stopped contacting each other once Yunho got busy."

The question about the two came from the 'Star shot' they took together. (T/N: 'Star shot' is the sticker photo which you can decorate and write on, like the ones Yunho and Yoochun took together in 2004.) The 'Star shot' U-Know Yunho and Lee Seon Ah took together 7 years ago is spreading amongst TVXQ fans and has become a hot topic.

"It's a photo we took at COEX while Yunho was still a trainee. 'Star shot' was all the rage back then, and it was something everyone did; it was like a rite of passage."

The last time Lee Seon Ah saw U-Know Yunho was when she was attending an acting academy before enterting college as a theater and film studies major. There, she met another one of U-Know Yunho's hometown friends by chance.

"Once, Yunho visited our acting academy to cheer us on not long after his debut. Back then, I used to like Micky Yoochun so I teased him and said, 'Why didn't you bring Micky Yoochun with you?' We still used to speak in a Jeolla province dialect back then. hahaha."

(omitted)

"Whenever Yunho or I felt like life was getting too hard, we'd say, 'Let's work hard and meet again as members of society.' Since I'm working hard right now, I'm sure he'll say, 'You've gone through a lot, great job,' if I run in to him one day, right?"

Park Yoohwan began taking acting lessons at the same time as his brother, JYJ's Park Yoochun.

Last year, Park Yoochun began taking acting lessons for his role in the drama 'SungKyunKwan Scandal' and Park Yoohwan decided to tag along and learn with him. Park Yoohwan said, "My brother was overflowing with confidence because he's experienced when it comes to tv appearances. But I didn't even know what Cameras 1, 2, and 3 were. I couldn't do anything because I was so nervous."

Though they had the same start, Park Yoochun almost immediately became Lee Seon Joon of 'SungKyunKwan Scandal'. The drama received great reviews and captured the hearts of many women. Park Yoochun seemed to have taken a liking to his character as he even spoke in a historical dialect at home. Park Yoohwan explained that, "My brother would even speak in a historical dialect at home as if he was Lee Seon Joon. He even acted like he was the real Lee Seon Joon of the Joseon Dynasty. At home, I don't get the feeling that my brother is a celebrity."

It was while he was studying acting that Park Yoohwan began fostering the dream of becoming an actor. But it wasn't easy. He underestimated the situation thinking, 'I could do that,' as he watched his brother act in 'SungKyunKwan Scandal', but in reality, nothing was working out for him. Fortunately, he passed his audition and was given the opportunity to start acting. Park Yoohwan is currently playing the role of Lee Seo Woo in the new MBC weekend drama 'Shiny Shiny Shining'.

In the drama, Lee Seo Woo is a character who has lived in the United States. He is a chracter who holds a deep pain within his heart and does not show it to others. Park Yoohwan showed confidence in his interpretation of the character as he said, "I'm quite similar to him. When I lived in the US, I was a target of racism. At home, I was a bright kid around my family but once I stepped outside my door, I was a dismal kid."

Park Yoohwan said that he wants to learn more. He said he wants to learn by receiving any and all parts, whether it is comical or slapstick. Park Yoohwan laughed as he said, "I want to stand on one stage with my brother one day. I think it would be funny if we play characters who are rivals. But I want to be the victor of the story." Though he said it in a joking manner, he revealed that, "I want to beat my brother as an actor."

Yamashita Tomohisa (a.k.a. Yamapi) revealed through a recent interview that he’d like to work with JYJ’s Jaejoong in the future. ”Jaejoong and I promised to work together someday. I really want to do it if there is any chance,” he said. The two became close while TVXQ was promoting in Japan, even attending a Lady Gaga benefit concert together. Additionally, Yamapi’s sister, Yamashita Rina, and his mother are huge TVXQ fans.

Yamapi is a member of NEWS, one of Japan’s biggest pop groups, and he’s contracted under Johnny’s Entertainment, Japan’s largest agency. He’s currently visiting Korea to promote his solo album, “SUPERGOOD, SUPERBAD“, and recently performed “Party Don’t Stop” on Mnet’s ”M! Countdown“.

He first gained recognition in Korea through his role in “Code Blue“, a Japanese medical drama that enjoyed a great deal of popularity both at home and abroad. Gauging his growing popularity in Korea, Mnet Media and Johnny’s were in talks about potentially debuting Yamapi. Indeed, both parties were gratified to learn that he was greeted by over 200 fans at the airport when he flew in a few days ago.

When asked about his popularity, Yamapi gave a shy laugh and said, “It’s awkward for me to talk about my popularity with my own mouth. My goal is just to work hard and receive the fans’ love.”

Yamapi also promised fans that he’d “study Korean hard” so that he could create a full Korean album soon.

After the Seoul Central District Court dismissed both of SM Entertainment's injunctions against JYJ last week, the judge Kim Daewong has decided to incur a fee against SM Entertainment every time they interfere with JYJ's activities. Through a press release, JYJ's current acting agency said on February 21st, "SM Entertainment will not be allowed to interfere with JYJ activities and will pay 20 million won every time they violate this court order."

The court has decided that there is a possibility that SM Entertainment will interfere with JYJ's activities, and in the case that they do interfere, have made this ruling. To prevent any possibilities of interference, the court has ordered a restraining order against SM Entertainment.

Even though the court has ruled in favor of JYJ, C-JeS Entertainment's Baek Changjoo said, "There are still many obstacles to go over. There are many things still to be worked out even with the court ruling in our favor. I hope the public and fans support our cause and help create a more progressive celebrity system."

Recently, a rumor ran rampant among fans that Yoon Eunhye of "Coffee Prince" and Yoochun of JYJ would be casted as the lead couple in KBS 2TV's new drama "Maid." The rumor, however, has been squashed by an official from the drama team, who claims it to be groundless.

According to the director of "Maid," "There’s no evidence about Yoon Eunhye and Park Yoochun as the potential cast members.”

But he then continued, “It’s true we have considered whether Yoon Eunhye and Park Yoochun could be coupled together for the drama, but in the end we believe that the couple is not possible.”

Both agencies of the actress and singer have also denied their involvement in the "Maid" drama. Eunhye's agency, The House Company, stated, “It’s just simply untrue.” Park Yoochun’s CJeS agency official has also dismissed the rumor, stating, “It’s a groundless issue.”

"Maid" is a drama about a romance that unfolds between a businessman employer and his live-in maid while they become embroiled in a battle over money.
