Recently, a rumor ran rampant among fans that Yoon Eunhye of "Coffee Prince" and Yoochun of JYJ would be casted as the lead couple in KBS 2TV's new drama "Maid." The rumor, however, has been squashed by an official from the drama team, who claims it to be groundless.

According to the director of "Maid," "There’s no evidence about Yoon Eunhye and Park Yoochun as the potential cast members.”

But he then continued, “It’s true we have considered whether Yoon Eunhye and Park Yoochun could be coupled together for the drama, but in the end we believe that the couple is not possible.”

Both agencies of the actress and singer have also denied their involvement in the "Maid" drama. Eunhye's agency, The House Company, stated, “It’s just simply untrue.” Park Yoochun’s CJeS agency official has also dismissed the rumor, stating, “It’s a groundless issue.”

"Maid" is a drama about a romance that unfolds between a businessman employer and his live-in maid while they become embroiled in a battle over money.

The extraordinary close brotherhood between Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan is already known to public. Having 5 years age gap, the two people call each other as their ‘treasure’.

The rookie actor and Park Yoochun’s younger brother Park Yoohwan revealed through a meeting with TV Report recently, “When I was younger, I thought all brothers’ relationship were good just like us.”

Park Yoohwan hence continued, “Maybe it’s because we spent a lot of time together when we’re in U.S. I couldn’t blend well with my classmates in school, thus I spent a lot of times with my brother,” he started to remember the memories.

“Then he went to Korea to debut. As a young boy I was, at first I felt really happy that I could have our room for myself, but after he didn’t comeback after 1 week, I started to feel sad.”

“When he was away, I had a lot of phone calls with him. In front of my parents and friends, I acted like a happy child, but I cried a lot when I was talking with him on call. My brother later said that he also cried by himself after we hung up the phone.”

There’s not even a possibility something could be more painful than that time. Park Yoohwan continued, “I cried when I saw my brother crying on TV. Even when I think about him now, my tears is still flowing.” as he said, his eyes got a bit teary.

Even nowdays when Park Yoohwan got nightmare while he was sleeping at night, he would still get up and go to his brother’s room, just like what a cute little brother will do. He also has courage to jump into the harsh entertainment world due to Park Yoochun.

Eventhough Park Yoohwan felt nervous and scared to have career by himself in entertainment, he’s finally encouraged by his brother’s support. “My brother is the reason I’m able to take the first step to realize my dream. One day I wish my brother can see the figure of me being a recognized actor.”

Note: The following is an editorial - an opinion piece - from Korean media but it's an interesting read.

The Courts have sided with JYJ once more. They dismissed both the formal objection against JYJ's injunction and the exclusive contract suspension injunction filed by SM against JYJ. As this is just a dismissal of SM's formal objection, we cannot dare to predict the outcome of the lawsuit yet. But it is true that the Courts' decision to accept JYJ's injunction and to dismiss SM's objection gives JYJ much hope. Although JYJ have won, they have not truly won. It would stay the same even if JYJ go on to win the actual lawsuit as well.

The reason JYJ have been unable to appear on music programs, though they fervently wish to be active domestically, is irrelevant to the Courts' verdict. Though some say that it is because broadcasting companies are busy treading on glass to be in SM's good graces, it would be more precise to pinpoint the problem on a coalition between entertainment agencies and broadcasting companies. The majority of variety programs rely on idols, and SM's share in TV shows is as big as the size of the company. Even common sense can explain why broadcasting companies would choose SM, with its plethora of idols, over a three-membered JYJ. Whether this is true or not, what is important is that PDs are denying JYJ of appearances on music programs, something fans and even PDs themselves want.

The TVXQ crisis, which had the same effect on the Korean entertainment industry as a beehive getting shoved into a room, is one that will not be solved unless both sides learn to compromise, which may sound cowardly. This means that both sides must free themselves of the dichotomy that SM is pure evil and that JYJ are ungrateful traitors. This is something TVXQ and JYJ's fans must definitely keep in mind. It is quite pitiful that people who used to be one family have now split up and are acting as anti fans. If you liked them as five, then shouldn't you like them as two and three? There is no need to search for the traitors between the group that stayed with SM and the group that left.

Why is it that people can't just be content with liking their star and feel the need to become someone else's anti fan? The Korean fandom seems to have an aggressive nature that attacks any and all competitors. But this doesn't stop within the fandom community; this aggressive characteristic bleeds into comments online, having a negative impact on the online community. With fans like this, it's no wonder that agencies use violent acts such as malevolently interfering with activities.

SM, they must now show the heart of a parent

The Korean entertainment industry must and will take at least one step forward in bettering their system thanks to the TVXQ and KARA lawsuits. Though the members themselves have unknown futures ahead of them, their sacrifice(?), or challenge, will better the lives of all idols in the industry. The Courts and the Fair Trade Commission have both criticized the unlawful nature of major entertainment agencies' contracts, and the public is definitely viewing the clauses in a negative light. This brings about a double standard with fans liking SM's artistes but being wary and distancing themselves from SM itself.

We are not able to know the full reason as to why SM is clinging on to JYJ so much and the reasons predicted may not be entirely false. What we do know is that the Courts and public both believe that SM is at fault, but SM must get rid of their attitude that they must bully JYJ with all their might till the end. It is childish for an entertainment agency as large as SM to viciously stab the persimmon they cannot eat out of spite. SM is bound to feel much hatred and disappointment from JYJ as they made many investments to train JYJ to get them to the top.

Yes. No matter what others say, the TVXQ and JYJ of now are like children SM gave birth to. Though it was TVXQ's parents who physically gave birth to them, it is SM who made them the top stars they are now. It is common for parents and children to argue when their opinions do not match. But there have never been parents who came out as winners in battles with their children. It is time for SM to become the parent who admits defeat to their persistent child out of love. You do not need to give birth to a child physically to consider yourself as a parent. No matter how greedy and childish SM thinks JYJ are, SM should must act as the parent and show a greater love.

There is no realistic gain for SM from bullying JYJ. If you take into consideration the time and effort SM has put into stopping JYJ from appearing on TV shows, SM's actions have done nothing but cause them great expenses. What's the point of continuing this profitless business? Isn't it time for SM to let go of JYJ now? Though SM probably hates JYJ as much as they love them, SM should take the high road. If SM can't let JYJ go easily, then the least they could do is not block JYJ's path.

On a recent broadcast of SBS’s FM radio show “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” on February 21st, TVXQ’s Yunho revealed that there was a time when a female celebrity confessed her feelings for him.

Yunho revealed, “There was a time when a certain female celebrity confessed her feelings for me. She texted me first and we started to text casually, but once you keep talking, you begin to start to like each other and get closer.”

He continued, “But then when the girl confesses to me in secret, because of my blunt personality, there are times when I miss the messages in between the lines.”

Changmin chimed in like a boss, “For me, even when a female celebrity confesses their feelings, I just turn down all of them. When a text comes, I don’t even bother replying.”

Who do you think this female celebrity could be?

I did not write this myself, it doesn't represent my view or the position of this site in anyway. They are just the sentiments of another Cassie that I found and decided to translate.

What I'm feeling right now, I wouldn't call it pain… it's helplessness and it's a pent up sense of frustration. None of it has much to do with me, back when the fandom first started to split, I had already made the decision to turn my back on it all.

TVXQ. This group, it was with me in the naive days of primary school, the wild days of junior high and the now maturing days of high school. Even though so many people now say 'you can't always believe what you see', these 5 individuals have walked with me throughout the journey of life; I don't know how to let go. Looking back on the tracks that we've left, I remember everything so clearly and I realize that so many have now left those memories in the past, choosing only to hold on to the experiences that give them joy.

Everything they've shown us has proved that they are made of flesh and blood, just like you and I. Each word uttered from their lips, each moment of eye contact, I don't understand how anybody could ever doubt them. If any of that were fake, then the 5 of them would be award-winning actors now.

All things considered, I'm not really a fan of TVXQ, I'm a fan of the 5. What is TVXQ? It's a name. It's a glorious title that has now left us lost and helpless. It doesn't matter who is using it and who isn't, regardless of the views you may hold or the prejudices you may have, they were and still are your idols; why should we constantly argue over this name? I don't deny wanting to see the 5 of them together on stage, but I have to admit that I've always wanted them to leave the black hole that they were getting lost in, to leave the entertainment industry and live their lives as ordinary people, happy and carefree. Isn't it a good thing now that JYJ have left? I've always known that it would be difficult and I'd always known that their careers would be interfered with. There was never a moment in time when I'd I thought it would be easy.

As for Homin, they have the right and the freedom to make whatever decision they wish. No one is betraying anyone - which one of you can look the 5 of them in the eye and say that you know the truth behind it all? If you really were an OT5 fan and you know where you stand, then hold on to that choice and live with it. Don't feel like you should let go or pick a side because of rumors, controversy and arguments. They give their very best for us and we shouldn't neglect their efforts.

Those of us who are waiting for them to return as 5 - there is nothing wrong with being hopeful and keeping faith. Whether they're releasing an album as 5, as 3 or as 2; whether they're holding concerts as 5, as 3 or as 2; they are still the same 5 people, and we should stay the same, just as we always have.

We are sure that many of our readers have already heard of and signed the Petition for the Recognition and Protection of JYJ’s Legal and Human Rights. But on the least chance that you have not, here again is the information. The petition will be closing in three short days, so sign while you still can!

Petition for the Recognition and Protection of
JYJ’s Legal and Human Rights

During this crucial time, before JYJ's March 2011 lawsuit hearing and right after QTV's constant evasiveness and uncertainty about airing JYJ on their network, we--as fans of Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu and as fans of TVXQ--have to let the courts and the public know that what's been happening to JYJ is WRONG. That JYJ shouldn't be blocked by television networks, that they shouldn't have to suffer setbacks in their careers wrought upon them by a vengeful ex-management company and its long list of cronies just because JYJ dared to stand up for their rights.

There are some who may question the validity and usefulness of the Petition. Others are skeptical that a Petition done by international fans would make any impact in Korea. The Petition DOES matter and international fans' opinions matter more than they ever realized. According to Koh Jaeyul , a prominent Korean journalist: The judgment on unfair contracts between SM and JYJ will be made at the court. However, the judge will not make a verdict solely based on the code of law. The judge will look at the public’s opinions and consider the implications of his ruling. JYJ’s new accomplishments and the global fandom will make an influence on the verdict.
