Says Derek, maker of this vid:

The legendary DBSK has come a long way in the 7 years since they debuted. Although they might have gone their separate ways momentarily, let us not forget the great memories they have had together. In my first of 5 videos, here's a showcase of DBSK's lead singer Hero, and some of his greatest moments over the years.

Just like I am doing with my SHINee videos, I don't plan to upload all 5 back to back. I still have to stay loyal to the other artists too. Thank you all for watching. Please "like", comment, and/or subscribe if you are enjoying my work. I have plenty more in store for these guys, so stay tuned!

If you're wondering why I didn't include any JYJ performances, it's because I have a separate video planned for them (along with HoMin) after I am done with these 5 videos. There were some performances that I could not include. Such as Hero's "For You" performance, because it got blocked no matter what. Oh well. I hope you understand.

Songs / Moments Include:
1. Maze
2. Footstep
3. Why Did I Fall in Love With You
4. Purple Line (Korean) (Dance Solo)
5. Rising Sun (Japanese)
6. Mirotic
7. Jaejoong's sexy dance to win the ladies
8. Jaejoong on helium and his signature laugh
9. Jaejoong's sauna debacle and voice crack
10. Losing at Rock, Paper, Scissors and his begging to Changmin
11. Wrong Number
12. Crying
13. Hug (Rock Remix)
14. We Are!
15. It's Only My World

Have a compilation idea, want to see an artist I haven't done yet, or a song you'd like to see in a future compilation? Let me know. I'm open for suggestions.

Also, I should point that the descriptions below the songs are almost always labeling where the song came from in terms of the album and the year it was released. If the song was exclusive to that performance, such as a one-time-only remix, then I specified when/where it occurred. So please, don't try to "correct" me unless I really made a mistake.

Amidst controversy swirling around SM Entertainment artists voicing their opinions through a series of messages addressing JYJ Junsu’s tweet, an OBS PD that previously interviewed all five of the TVXQ members expressed his own thoughts on January 8th.

Yoon Kyung Cheol is PD to shows such as “OBS Unique Entertainment News,” “Weekend Entertainment Magazine,” and “Good Events, Bad Events, and Weird Events,” and works with a staff of 30.

Yoon began his series of tweets by writing, “Looking at idols lately, it’s not even funny anymore. Do they think they’re a gang or something? Why are they ganging up and fighting? They’re not even the people in question, why leave messages like that? If they’re public figures, they should act like public figures. If not, just fight properly. Why are there laws? Don’t use the love of fans for your own personal profit, xx idol.”

He continued, “Idols are really so funny. Who do they think made them into who they are? They probably think it’s themselves or their CEO or something. Fools, the people that created you are your fans, how could you be so ungrateful?”

Yoon re-tweeted a person that stated, “They were trained thoroughly by their company, even the emotions that they are born with is a product of training,” and further added, “It’s upsetting.”

He continued, “The problem is that the idols don’t know their place and are acting out like this, but not one adult is restricting them. Just because they’re nicknamed ‘adult-idols’ doesn’t mean anything.”

When asked whether he was the PD that interviewed TVXQ in the past, he added, “You’re right. When I interviewed TVXQ at the time, they were so happy with themselves that they even wanted to have their children become group singers.”

The PD concluded his series of tweets by writing, “Idols exist to give us hopes and dreams. I hope that they continue to exist under that reason inside of me, and as much as they are models for their fans, I hope they love all so that misunderstandings do not happen amongst their fans. I genuinely ask for them to, please.”

Following in the footsteps of his labelmates, Sim Jaewon, BoA, and Super Junior’s Shindong and Sungmin, Trax’s Jungmo left his own message addressing JYJ’s Junsu’s tweet.
On the afternoon of January 7th, Jungmo wrote on his personal mini-homepage:

“I’m getting so frustrated, so I’m going to write a few things…
No matter how I see it, this isn’t right.
How could you repay kindness with ingratitude…
Do you really not feel who they are and how much they’ve cared for you?
It’s inevitable for everyone to change, but I’m getting scared now.
They started this because they liked music and the stage, but where has that all disappeared to now?
It’s upsetting, truly…”

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk also lent his support to TVXQ by visiting their comeback performance at KBS’s “Music Bank.”

He stated, “I watched the TVXQ seniors comeback performance, but I think I was more nervous than them. Their impressive performance exceeded my expectations, it’s impossible to not be impressed it. I’ve learned a lot from them. It may have been a stage with two people, but I do believe they’ll show a fully packed stage. Watching them made my throat close up, I hope they’ll be able to promote without any pressure.”

SM Entertainment further commented, “Despite handling their own schedules, Eunhyuk made sure to text and call Yunho and Changmin to congratulate them on their comeback. A lot of celebrity friends visited the duo as well. They probably earned much strength from the visits.”

“I am grateful even if the interest shown is small” It can be seen that they have been going through a hard time.
Junsu expresses his disappointment towards DBSK through Twitter.

JaeJoong from the 3 member group JYJ was choked with emotions for a moment.
This was during the 6th when they had dinner together with reporters at a hotel in Seoul. They went to all the tables and made their greetings. JaeJoong’s emotional reaction was during the final greeting.

On this day, JaeJoong, together with the other members, expressed their thanks to the reporters who had been supporting them in JYJ’s activites. He was unable to overcome his emotions during that moment. After expressing their thanks, he saw every single reporter out individually and JaeJoong repeatedly said, “Thank you.”
In July 2009, JaeJoong, Junsu and YooChun left SM Entertainment and carried out their own activities on their own.

After the legal battle, the remaining members of DBSK are now starting new activities.

Junsu said, “I will try my very best to make this year a better year compared to last year.”
YooChun too added, “I would like to thank those who have been showing us even the smallest amount of interest.”

JaeJoong said, “Thank you for always showing us interest even though we are lacking and so many of you came today, thank you.” while saying this, he became overwhelmed with emotion.

One representative explained the reason for JaeJoong’s uncontrollable emotions, saying, “It has been a long time since he has met so many reporters and because so many turned up, I think he was touched.”

The two members of DBSK who recently released an album and JYJ are clearly going on different paths. In the midst of this, interest is growing regarding the expressed thoughts of the members.

DBSK expressed their thanks to the head of SM Entertainment, Lee Soo Man, in the “Thanks To” section of their new album. With regards to this, Junsu tweeted, “I thought we had the same enemy. It seemed like it wasn’t the enemy for all of us. It seems like many things happened during the time when we weren’t together. Even though we are separated, it wasn’t supposed to be like this, hyung! Didn’t we have the same thought.” expressing his feelings of emotions.

Also interest is increasing regarding YooChun’s recently released lyrics to his self-composed song.
“It was an imprisonment which wasn’t meant to be an imprisonment for us. Extreme tears, loneliness, rage; all of these made us united as one. Even if anything were to happen, we said that we would not leave each other. I will turn my back first on you who have already changed.”

People are also under the impression that in the lyrics of the new song by DBSK seem to contain a hidden message directed at JYJ. “I will erase you from my heart completely and proceed on to a happy future. In the distant future, you will realize how genuine the love that you deserted was.” The lyrics contained such warnings and resolutions.

In any case, on this day, we could see how hard it has been for them. In the future, while supporting them in their activities, we are curious to see how this inherent discord will be resolved.
