apologizes for a late reply. It took some time to verify the information. Since we unexpectedly aired the New Year special “Dr. Lee Seo Hyung’s 80 minute Miracle” on January 4th, we had to adjust all of our programs. We will let you know the airing date of our JYJ special as soon as we make a decision.

The beginning of 2011 also marks the beginning of the fierce competition between boy groups.

Whilst rookies such as MBLAQ, Teen Top and Infinite prepare for their comebacks, top idol groups TVXQ and Big Bang will also be releasing new albums. Having been dominated by girl groups in recent years, it seems as though this new year will see the come back of the boy group craze.

The special edition of TVXQ's 'Why (Keep Your Head Down)' was released on the 5th whilst Big Bang unit GDTOP's previously released tracks 'High High', 'Oh Yeah' and 'Knock Out' have also garnered public attention. Big Bang member Seungri will also be releasing his solo album some time this January.

Prior to the release of MBLAQ's full album, their title track 'Cry' was released on the 3rd. 'Cry' secured top spots alongside TVXQ, Big Bang and IU on music sites such as Mnet and Bugs.

It seems this year will be vastly different from the last, where Girl's Generation conquered the charts with 'Gee' and 'Oh'.

TVXQ’s newest album sold over an astonishing 15,000 copies within a day, according to album sales analyst Hanteo.

The special edition of “Keep Your Head Down” was released on the morning of January 5th, and by 4 PM KST, the duo racked up an impressive sales amount of 15,000 copies sold.

Offline sales have yet to be calculated and added into the record. By 5 PM KST, the album was already recording close to 20,000 in online sales, which means that reaching 30,000 sales overall in one day would be easily manageable for the duo.

The album is currently ranking first on the Hanteo charts, in addition to all of the major music sites such as Bugs, dosirak, Mnet, and Daum Music.

Their music video for the song has also placed on ‘the most views’, ‘most replies’, ‘most favorited’, and ‘most rated video’ rankings for YouTube Korea. “Keep Your Head Down” also managed to list on other YouTube location charts for Canada, the UK, Netherland, Russia and many others, as the ‘most viewed video’.

The duo will be making their comeback on “Music Bank” on the 7th, “Music Core” on the 8th, and “Inkigayo” on the 9th, followed by the release of the album’s ’standard edition’ on the 12th.

The TVXQ duo will be making their official comeback on KBS2's Music Bank.

TVXQ will be performing their title track 'Why' on the afternoon of the 7th on Music Bank, followed by Music Core on the 8th and Inkigayo on the 9th. This will mark the beginning of their comeback promotions.

With their idols finally making a return to the stage after a 2 year, 3 month hiatus, TVXQ's fans highly anticipate the group's performances.

This album showcases the uniquely diverse voices of Yunho and Changmin through a series of soulful tracks as well as some newer genres. A number of respected composers including Yoo young jin, Kenzie, Park Chang Hyun, E-Tribe and Outsidaz (an active group in the US) took part in the production, thus gaining the album further acclaim.

The new album includes the title track 'Why (Keep Your Head Down)' which elicited an explosive response upon its release on the 3rd. Park Chang Hyun, composer of 'Hug' wrote 'How Can I' as a gift for the two members, whilst Jay of TRAX collaborated with the two on the dance track 'Crazy'. Other songs also include the simplistically beautiful 'Rumor' which leaves a deep impression on its listener as well as Maximum etc. With so many different tracks, all conveying different emotions, the album is completely compatible with TVXQ's talent.

In particular, Yunho and Changmin's solos have garnered much attention. Yunho's solo 'Honey Funny Bunny' adopts a modern, slow pace, using the unique phrase 'Honey Funny Bunny' to capture the emotions of love at first sight.

Changmin wrote the lyrics to his own solo 'Confession'. Through the piano accompaniment and the powerful harmony, the song fully displays Choikang Changmin's unique talent of expressing emotions through music. The lyrics speak of a separated couple, enhancing the heartbreaking tone of the piece.

TVXQ's new album will be released on the 5th.

Thanks to TVXQ, it seems that SM Entertainment and MNet Media has reconciled. SM Entertainment had pulled all of their artists' music off MNet's website due to a dispute with the company, claiming unauthorized use of their content last March. However, TVXQ latest song "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" can be found on MNet's website for purchase.

SM Entertainment officials stated that SHINee, SNSD, and other SM singers' music will slowly be available on MNet Media's website. However, concerning SM artists' appearance on M! Countdown are not confirmed yet and they are still debating on that issue.

PS: I would really appreciate it if there are no JYJ or Homin bashers TQ very much!
