After watching Junsu's 3Hree Voices dvd, an Australian fan decided to tour the places Junsu visited when he was in Sydney. She included the name of the shops and roughly where they are located just in case if any of the DBSK fans plan to visit Sydney and want to go to places Junsu went to.

Read more about it!:

Hey guys~ so, after watching Junsu’s 3hree voices part in which he went on a vacation to Sydney, my friend Aveline and I decided to go on what we call ‘Junsu Tour’ ourselves. Yes, that is how much we adore him. Besides, since I will be leaving Sydney soon might as well go to places and eat things I have never eaten before in Sydney. Junsu in his vacation to Sydney actually ate at places I’ve never gone to before.

Of course we didn’t go to all the places he went to, some we just walked past, some we just can’t be bothered to go.

Firstly I met up with Evi at Chatime Railway Square branch and we actually walked from there to The Rocks area. It wasn't that short of a distance but we enjoyed the walk anyway since the weather was actually very nice today and we get to have a long catch up chat during.

So for this Junsu Tour pictures which I'm uploading here on this blog, I’m just gonna try and follow the chronological order of Junsu’s actual 3hree voices trip like in the DVD.

In the DVD, Junsu went to a place that sells deep fried mars bar wrapped in coconut batter.

That place is actually located in Bondi beach and the shop is called Bondi Surf Seafood and its fried mars bar has actually always been a famous sweet dessert and everyones' favorite.

Below is Junsu enjoying his fried mars bar which he claimed to be tasty!

and this is the close up of the fried mars bar which he had,

Actually after living for more than 7 years (almost 8 now) in Sydney, as a Sydney-sider I have never once had this famous fried mars bar myself! How shameful. So this time I took the chance to actually give it a try. I mean come on, even Junsu (who came all the way from S. Korea) had tried it but I as a local Sydney-sider have not? So I decided to buy one and shared it with Evi.

Actually it didn't look as aesthetically pleasing as the one Junsu had on the screencap but believe me it was the same thing! Just that Junsu had better lighting lol but yes, this is the famous Bondi's fried mars bar everyone! and yes it definitely tasted as yummy as how Junsu claimed it to be. "Sinful" though, as how Evi described it.

Junsu then checked out a 'Ripcurl' store since he needed some beach-y attire to go play in the water.

OT: OMG those two super lucky Aussies seemed to be COMPLETELY clueless of who just walked past them! IT'S XIAH JUNSU! Star of Asia!

This store is actually just a block away from the Bondi Surf Seafood shop where he had his fried mars bar!

Ok la so since we were already in Bondi we might as well go check out the store and absorb in some Junsu essence that's left in the store (mwahahahah it sounded like something that creepy obsessed fangirls would do lol).

It looks like they already restock some stuffs since Junsu came to Sydney in January where it was summer. Now that it is winter all the stuffs they are selling seem to already change. Was actually trying to find the ripcurl sleeveless shirt that Junsu got from the store and his grey-ish short but couldn't find them. So they have probably changed the items in the store.

Then the next scene in 3hree voices was when Junsu had his lunch at 'The Australian Hotel'. We then decided to visit this place and have something for lunch in here as well.

The Australian Hotel is located at The Rocks, not so far away from the hotel where Junsu was staying when he came to Sydney. In fact, it was only one or a couple of blocks away from the hotel. To be honest, if it wasn't for Junsu lunching at this place I wouldn't have the thought of ever lunching there! Anywho, it turned out to actually be a pretty good place to eat.

Cute Junsu trying to read the menu in English. I love how he pronounce Pepper Kangaroo Pizza kekeke! Totally adorable!

This is actually what he ended up trying!

At first we were going to try the same thing, but we remembered how Junsu didn't quite like the food. Not wanting to risk wasting food away we decided to try the Chicken Pizza...

There were two chicken pizzas in the menu, one being the Tandoori Chicken and the other one was Honey Mustard Chicken Pizza. Forgetting that the pizza that Junsu had was white-ish looking and not red/orange-y we ordered the Tandoori Chicken instead of the Honey Mustard one which I think what Junsu ordered last time.

Since we ordered the small size we decided to also order some garlic bread with it.

Despite how we ordered the 'wrong food', a different chicken pizza to what Junsu had, the one we ordered actually tasted VERY nice as well! In fact, a couple of passerby commented on how nice it looked and one of them even stopped by and asked what we were having! It was actually surprisingly nice. I honestly didn't expect it to be so it was good!

After lunch we decided to walk off the calorie by walking around Circular Quay and The Rocks area (it was afterall where Junsu spent most of his time in Sydney anyway).

Just a block away from The Australian Hotel, the place where we were lunching at, is Sydney's Shangri-La hotel where Junsu stayed at. Ahh.. memories of waiting for him outside of this hotel still quite fresh in my mind :) (WE FREAKING MISS YOU JUNSU! >_<)

I suppose this is what it looks like from the suite inside the hotel. Goodness... it must cost a lot just to stay one night in that room (with a freaking shiny black grand piano in it and a view of the opera house!).

Actually Junsu's part in the DVD ends here, however in the DVD Digest it was shown that Junsu actually went to eat Kangaroo steak and was resting at one of the cafes near the opera house. So since we were gonna catch a bus back to Central station where Evi parked her car, might as well take a detour since the weather was really nice today anyway.

This is the scene when Junsu was enjoying his kangaroo steak.

We couldn't be 100% sure whether we actually visited the right place because they never show us the name of the place in the scene. However Evi felt that she recognized the background and decided to check it out.

We arrived at this fancy restaurant still in The Rocks/Circular Quay area called 'Waterfront' and it actually looked strikingly similar to the background of the restaurant Junsu went to. However strangely when we checked out the lunch menu it didn't have that so called kangaroo steak. We couldn't be 100% sure about this place but I'm actually quite convinced that it was the place.

Last but not least...

Remember this very cute scene from the DVD Digest where our Junchan was resting?

At first I wasn't quite sure where the place was since there are a lot of cafes along the circular quay area however after a closer look, I finally was able to identify exactly where it is (as there was the name of the cafe shown)

It's the Portobello Caffe located just right next to Oyster Bar!

The view was very nice there plus the wind really sets your mood at peace. No wonder Junsu fell asleep like that. Oh and probably he had been very tired too since he probably didn't get much rest due to filming.

Anywho, with this last picture I conclude our Junsu Tour!

Overall, it has been quite a fun experience since Junsu actually went to places I never been to before. Aside of reminiscing the time when Junsu was in Sydney I actually get to experienced a couple of new things: 1. the awesome tandoori chicken pizza and 2. fried mars bar!

So yay! I hope Junsu also had fun while staying in Sydney and would want to come back here again sometime in the future ^^

The first live DVD of Tohoshinki's members JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN "THANKSGIVING LIVE IN DOME" (rhymthzone, released on 9/8) sold a total of 119,000 copies in the first week, snatching the top spot of Oricon DVD Weekly Chart.

Their album "The…" which was released on the same day also ranks first on the Oricon Album Weekly Chart, selling 140,000 copies. The last artist who held a record of having both album and DVD ranked first on both charts was ZARD with their album "Golden Best ~15th Anniversary~" and DVD "ZARD Le Portfolio 1991-2006", which were released on 11/6/2006. The record was made 3 years and 10 months ago, with ZARD being the 6th artist to do so. For a foreign artist, this is the first time one has made such a brilliant achievement.

Moreover, they are the second foreign artist to sell more than 100,000 copies of a music DVD. The first artist to hold that record was Tohoshinki with "4th LIVE TOUR 2009~The Secret Code~FINAL in TOKYO DOME" (released on 10/12/2009) with 171,000 copies and "TOHOSHINKI VIDEO CLIP COLLECTION-THE ONE-" (released on 3/29/2010) with 109,000 copies.

The artists of top talent agency SM Entertainment held their third concert in Shanghai over the weekend, performing a total of 54 songs in front of 25,000 concertgoers.

At the "SMTOWN LIVE '10 in Shanghai" held at the Hongkou Football Stadium on September 11, Kangta, BoA, U-know Yunho, Max Changmin, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x) and Zhang Li Yin took the stage to sing their own songs as well as crossover performances with each other.

Singer Kangta sang the title track "Remember" from his upcoming Chinese album, which will be released later this month, and Super Junior unit, Super Junior-M, performed their Chinese hits songs "Blue Tomorrow" and "Me."

Kangta also gave a duet performance of the song "7989" with f(x) member Sulli, while the singer and the rest of the SM artists celebrated his 15th anniversary in the music industry with a cake and special video featuring his past activities.

"I was surprised because I didn't know that they have planned this event. I want to thank my fellow labelmates and my fans who congratulated me that day," Kangta was quoted as saying, adding that he will work harder in the future.

The four hour-long concert wrapped up with a group performance of all the artists singing to H.O.T's song "Hope."

SM's world tour this year first kicked off in Seoul in late August and was followed by the second concert in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on September 4. They will continue on into Tokyo of Japan in January of next year for their final stop on the tour.

Partial Lyrics for 'To you it's separation, For me it's waiting (너에겐 이별 나에겐 기다림)'

English Translations

Other than the empty spot that is yours, Everything else is in its place
My heart must be broken because it can't comprehend that I've let you go
All my love is now in vain
I'm letting you go like this but to me, this is the beginning of a wait
Don't leave, my love, I won't be able to see you ever again
You are still in my heart

Don't leave, my love, I won't be able to see you ever again
At any place or time, whenever you are tired and worn out, please return to me
You have to be happy, my love, until that day, until we become eternal
If you forget me and erase me without a trace...

Full Lyrics for 'Found You (찾았다)'

English Translations

Honestly, at first I didn't know, though it was an accidental encounter
Till now, I've learned more about sorrow than happiness

Though I was full of tears, I will bring you only laughter
I must have finally found my other half
My heart is racing like this

Found you my love, The person I've been searching for
I want to share a heated embrace with you
Stay still and close your eyes
So I can kiss you on the lips

I love you, it's you who I love

Found you
The one person I'll keep by my side

Though I had kept my heart closed, I'll give my heart to you
I must have finally found my other half
My heart is racing like this

Found you my love, The person I've been searching for
I want to share a heated embrace with you
Stay still and close your eyes
So I can kiss you on the lips

I love you, it's you who I love

Found you
The one person I'll keep by my side

The person who embraced all the painful wounds on my closed heart
I want to love you more and more, for eternity

Found you my love, The person I've been searching for
I want to share a heated embrace with you
Stay still and close your eyes
So I can kiss you on the lips

Stay still and close your eyes
So I can kiss you on the lips

I love you, it's you who I love

Found you

Thank you

Kim Jun-su, better known as Xiah, a member of K-pop group TVXQ, will perform with Grammy Award-winning composer Sylvester Levay in the musical concert “Mozart!” at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium from Oct. 7 to 10.

The Korean rendition of the Austrian musical that garnered huge popularity for its starry casting and high-quality musical score early this year will bring actors and actresses together again in “Levay with Friends.”

Renowned for composing film scores in Hollywood from 1980 to 2000, Levay wrote his most popular works for the mid-1980s U.S. TV action series “Airwolf” (1984-1986). Since the 1990s, Levay has dedicated himself to musicals.

Kim and other actors will team up with the Hungarian composer who will lead a 38-member orchestra to perform the memorable musical. The concert will include songs from “Elizabeth,” also composed by Levay to be performed by Kim, Park Eun-tae and Jeon Dong-seok. “Elizabeth,” a representative Austrian musical collaboration by Levay and his writing partner Michael Kunze, will be presented in Korea in 2012.

Also, Kim will introduce a new song composed by Levay, who was deeply impressed by Kim’s performances both in the musical and as a member of TVXQ.

When Kim first took the role, there was a lot of cynicism and doubt about his debut as a musical actor but he rebuffed such criticism with his powerful vocals and excellent performances.

The EMK Musical Company said that in the concert, Kim is expected to show his talent as a musical actor that goes beyond his popularity as a K-pop idol star. Kim recently took part in singing the title song for the drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” along with Micky and Hero.

Veteran actor Seo Beom-seok who played Mozart’s father in the musical said that it will be a good opportunity for him and his fans alike to enjoy the program once again. “All actors who took part in the premiere earlier this year have missed Levay’s music. So we are very excited to hold a concert with him on this special occasion,” he said.

Yu Hee-sung, co-director of the musical, said that Kim and world-renowned musician Levay will produce a concert different from other gala events. “All the staff and the actors are making a concerted effort to recreate a touching performance for some 40,000 people,” he said.

The local musical production company said that it will put “Mozart!”on stage as an encore performance next year and “Elizabeth” in 2012.

Singers Xiah Junsu, Hero Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun have become the new face of Korean cosmetics brand Nature Republic, according to the company on Monday.

Nature Republic announced through a press release that the three, originally members of popular five-man band TVXQ, have agreed to endorse the brand for a year.

"Our company plans to carry out differentiated marketing strategies targeted at both the domestic and Hallyu customers through the three members of TVXQ who are exerting influence as strong as models throughout Asia," Nature Republic explained of its reason signing with the trio.

Xiah, Hero and Micky, who started their activities through a studio shoot in mid-August, will be promoting Nature Republic alongside Asian pop sensation Rain, the brand's main model since its launching in March last year.

The trio, who have ceased to work as members of TVXQ after getting involved in a legal dispute with their management agency SM Entertainment in July last year, have newly been pursuing their careers with top Japanese talenthouse Avex.

They recently also signed with East Asia Music Ltd., the music arm of major Hong Kong film studio Media Asia Group, to manage their careers in the China region.

The first time I met them was at the FNS Music Festival in 2009.
My first impression was that all five of them were really beautiful and lean…

By pure coincidence, I read their book “Tohoshinki no Namida” [Tohoshinki's tears].
Upon finishing, I realized how much effort and hard work they'd devoted to their careers.

And it's probably the reason why so many people become fans of them.

I hope that Tohoshinki will come back one day.

Yunho made his debut as a musical actor through his role in 'Goong' on September 8th at Theater Yong. This marks the beginning of a new phenomenon.

The first scene of the musical established a serious atmosphere and this was followed by a dance in the scene which followed, leaving the whole of the audience intrigued, unable to tear their eyes away. Throughout the performance, the use of LEDs provided a feeling of elegance, allowing the crowd to gain a better understanding of the plot. Enthusiastic responses were received from not only Korean fans but also overseas audiences.

On the day, the director said that Yunho's sincere acting and graceful dancing was the reason of their success: 'Over the past four months, Yunho has completely let go of his image as an idol. As an actor in 'Goong', he has worked ceaselessly to perfect his portrayal of Lee Shin. Despite being a newcomer and performing for the very first time, the choreographers expressed that Yunho did not seem like an amateur at all, on the contrary, his charismatic presence allowed him to really make the stage his own. I hope that he'll have gained some valuable experience and growth through 'Goong'.'

With idols such as U-Know Yunho as part of its cast, the musical 'Goong' has generated a great degree of interest from the media.

Not sure where this is from, but the original was in Japanese.

A slight change in topic. With regards to Jaejoong learning kanji, on the final day of filming for Sunao, I heard that Jaejoong had to take acting classes and to learn kanji in preparation for the television drama. I never thought that he'd practice writing it at home and look up the things he didn't understand in the dictionary. Hearing it from jaejoong really shocked me… Jaejoong practicing how to write kanji? Jaejoong looking up words in the dictionary? At the mention of dictionaries, I'm sure most of you would think of electronic dictionaries… but it was an actual paperback one! Doing something so old fashioned… Asia's Hero doing stuff like that…. I was really moved. Most celebrities just adopt a stage name that they themselves are able to understand, and even if they learn kanji, they only learn enough so that they're able to write messages to their fans. After learning about Jaejoong's actions, I realized that he must really be passionate about languages. Languages are so important in our interactions with others, as someone who values communicating with others, Jaejoong has really worked hard to improve his Japanese, wanting to further himself by learning some more difficult characters. As I listened to Jaejoong speak, I saw a sparkle in his eyes; I could really feel his determination. This is my Hero.

Which place is the place where the South Korean stars have come from the most?

On Mnet ‘MCountdown MDC News’ they revealed where the recently known stars were born.

On the past 9th in the broadcast of MCD NEWS if you follow it, Busan is the place where most of the stars were born. Supreme Team’s Simon D, CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa, After School’s Lizzy but also 2NE1′s Sandara Park and MBLAQ’s Thunder who have grown up in the Philippines are also from Busan.

A lot of stars also came from Gwangjoo like Busan: DBSK’s U-Know Yunho, Big Bang’s Seungri, KARA’s Goo Hara, 2NE1′s Gong Minzy etc… Seungri was especially known in his place before debut for his dancing skills.
