T/N: MT means Membership Training and is when groups go on a trip together to strengthen their teamwork. These usually occur in colleges or companies.

U-Know Yunho of TVXQ stated that he felt like he was going on a MT with his fellow SM TOWN members.

After boarding the chartered plane headed for the USA for the SM TOWN LIVE '10 WORLD TOUR in L.A. concert, U-Know Yunho showed an attentive side when he said, "This trip that I'm spending with our SM TOWN family is very meaningful to me and I feel as though I'm leaving for a MT," and "I want to converse with the reporters and share stories that I never had a chance to share."

U-Know Yunho, who is busy preparing for the musical 'Goong' and filming an advertisement drama, also drew attention for taking friendly pictures with other singers such as fellow member Choikang Changmin and Girls' Generation member Soo Young.

Japan's renowned music chart Oricon is garnering attention for stating that TVXQ is the reason why Korean girl groups could attain popularity in Japan.

On the 2nd, their column 'The Eyes of the Editor-in-Chief' introduced the recent Japanese activities of Korean girl groups such as Kara, 4Minute and Girls' Generation and pointed out the majority of their Japanese fans are women in their teens and twenties.

Oricon stated, "TVXQ must be credited for K-pop and its girl groups' successful launch in Japan. It seems that the fans have been feeling a sense of loss since TVXQ suspended all activities, so the fans in their teens and twenties are focusing their attention on Korean girl groups."

Following this, the columnist added that, "Otherwise, it would have been impossible for these girl groups to have suddenly sold 30,000 copies of their album or have 20,000 people come to their events."

Sorry this is so late >>!

I didn't get there particularly early that day since I had to wait for my other friend who is Yunho-biased. By time we finally arrived, our other friends were a little annoyed, ah sorry. I won't ramble too much about other stuff, but basically it took us ages and ages to find the entrance and on the way we passed lots of merch stalls. I don't know whether it's because I got there too late, but I didn't see any HoMin goods… I spent a really long time looking for them but didn't manage to find any. Cassiopeia that day was nothing like how it used to be, it took up around 1/3 of the stadium, and there were a lot of Chinese and Japanese fans who'd come to see HoMin. My seat was in section A so it took me quite some time to get there. When I finally located it, I was slightly overwhelmed, the seats up above were already filled, and looking up, I realized that the biggest group there was still Cassiopeia, they took up nearly 3 whole areas. I remember seeing on the poster that Cassiopeia was only allocated two sections… After that I noticed some Yunho banners. Yunho is absolutely phenomenal, there were at least 9 Yunho banners, and it was pretty much the same for Changmin. I took a few photos and then walked off to find my seat. When I found it, I realized that it was actually very close to the front but quite far off to the side (later on I realized that it was actually a really good seat because all the artists would pass by in front of me on their way off the stage).

The Korean staff really were ridiculously serious, they didn't allow any umbrellas despite how sunny it was, bags had to be kept under the seats and the audience was to remain seated at all times. I really couldn't see the problem with me standing up, I wouldn't have been in the way of any body anyway.

I think most people know by now that we waited a full 6 hours for HoMin. The order outlined on the performance schedule wasn't followed and all of the HoMin fans got really anxious. Half way through the show, someone called me and asked for a live report of what was happening. Fortunately, I'd left home with a fully charged battery because HoMin still had not appeared by the end of the first segment. Before the break, Leeteuk told us 'You'll see the people you're here for'. We all thought he meant that HoMin would perform in the second segment and so I stayed put in my seat, refusing to go to the bathroom. Then I phoned my friend asking her to call again in a bit.

International calls are by no means cheap, and since the concert lasted for so long, we were all completely exhausted and slouching on our chairs. The only artists we saw were Super Junior, SHINee, SNSD, f(x) and BoA, they kept coming on stage one after the other. By that time, we'd really given up when all of a sudden, everything went dark. We barely had time to react when screams started to echo throughout the stadium. I really couldn't see HoMin anywhere but everyone else around me had gone insane and the staff's attempts to keep the audience in control had completely gone to waste.

Taking advantage of the chaos, my friends and I ran towards a different section that was closer to the stage and that when we saw Yunho and Changmin descending from above. We were all really excited then and everyone was screaming their names at the top of our lungs. Then, oh christ, then Yunho saw us… he nodded at us and flashed a smile. Most of us were too shocked to form coherent words. A few members of staff came over asking us to put down our flashboards and to go back to our seats except that none of us listened… we all just went and found an empty seat to sit on close to the stage. (My phone rang at that moment, but because I'd kept it on for so long, it ran out of battery and switched itself off) Once HoMin reached the stage, we heard a sped up version of 'Miduhyo' . What people didn't realize was that no matter how they changed the rhythm and speed of the song, it still brought an ache to our hearts when it reached our ears. When they got to the rap in 'Mirotic', I lost control. The stage that once belonged to 5 now stood only 2. Watching Changmin cover Yoochun's part of the rap was what really made the tears fall. I turned over to look at my friend and she was crying too. There was really no way we could have held the tears in in a situation like that. A few SHINee fans who were sitting in front of us saw us crying and spread the words to others around them. Lots of people turned around to stare but we really couldn't care less. When the singing was over, they greeted us with' Hello everybody, we are Dong Bang Shin Ki'. The pain I felt at that moment was simply indescribable and that was what brought about a whole new round of tears. All the fans were screaming as Yunho's solo began. It was really charismatic and it was a song none of us had heard before. I sat in my seat and watched quietly as Yunho danced his heart out. The weather was hot and stuffy, and watching him sweat the way he did made my heart ache. Behind him, Changmin appeared, and when the song was over, another Super Junior track began to play.

I felt a pang of disappointment hit me as the stage ended, but right at that moment, Trax came on stage with Heechul and Changmin got on stage. He began to sing a rock version of 'Don't Don' (To those who might've been mistaken, Changmin wasn't there as an accompaniment, he was the focal point of that performance, everyone else on stage was standing off to the side and he was the only person singing. His high notes were delivered beautifully so I honestly have no idea why some people thought he was there as an accompaniment…) Yunho didn't come on again after that and so I returned to my original seat. I realized that my friend had completely broken down, i looked at her and then looked back again at the stage that was now empty, and felt tears begin to fall. The two of us sat there crying for god knows how long and our makeup was completely ruined.

Eventually it was time for the group performance. HoMin came on in a different set of clothes. They were on the main stage but then they began to walk towards us. I paid no notice to the heels I was wearing and followed the crowd as they ran towards HoMin. Again, the staff had completely lost control over the audience and they'd pretty much given up trying. I stood right at their feet, really, I was so close I could see Changmin's uneaven eyes. The two of them took red balloons from us and Yunho ran to the very front of the stage calling our name (Cassiopeia). There were lots of us there that day. HoMin were just as they used to be, they remained at the very edge despite the crowd that was forming at their feet.

Finally it was time to leave. Just before I reached the door, I heard a loud shout and stopped immediately. Turning back, I saw that it was Changmin. Ah, that child, he didn't want us to leave. It was 12 in the morning by the time I got home. I was completely exhausted and I'd really cried my eyes out, yet the minute I got home, I switched on my computer to look through photos from a-nation. Seeing JaeChunSu putting their everything into their performances over at Japan suddenly made me realize that this was the first and probably the last time I was ever going to see Cassiopeia with my own two eyes*. Two whole days I spent going through photos from SMTown and a-nation. I was utterly worn out, in the physical sense of course, but even more so, I was emotionally exhausted. Right now, the only thing I want is to know that they're good and well. There's nothing more that I can possibly want or hope for.

*This was written by a Chinese fan who was staying in Korea at the time of SMTown.

Japanese actress Ueno Juri talked about her impression of acting with Jaejoong in Fuji TV drama 'Sunao ni narenakute'.

Ueno Juri expressed her feelings to the reporters in Seoul Lotte Hotel in the morning of 3rd September that, 'Whenever there are scenes in which Jaejoong has to hold my hand or carry me, his face will turn red and run to the back while making 'aaaa...' sound. He will hide behind the wall, so we didn't interact that much. I even thought he hates me. Later when we become closer, and I asked him why he behaved that way, I was told that he deliberately kept a certain distance from me since he was acting as a character who likes me in the drama.

She praised that actor Jaejoong is a friend with outstanding insight. She said, 'During an interview, Jaejoong mentioned that I am a person full of passion. From my point of view, Jaejoong is a caring friend. He even damages his own image to lighten up the atmosphere, he also has great insight. There was a scene where he needs to make a quick turn when fighting using briefcase, which can originally be done in a blink of eye. However, when it was broadcasted, he called and told me that the photographer was also shot in the scene. When I watched back the scene he mentioned later on, I couldn't find it. Instead it was the staff who found it. His eyesight is superb to be able to notice it, because the scene only last for a short time.'

Besides that, he brought both Japanese and Korean scripts to the filming site, and memorized his lines well. His acting skills is outstanding. He is good in sports too, and is able to accomplish all the actions by himself. In my opinion, he is a very good actor.'

Ueno Juri and Hero Jaejoong acted in the drama 'Sunao ni narenakute'. The drama is about the process of a true friendship built among the people who met each other through network. Popular japanese actors including Eita were acting in this drama too.

SMTOWN AT LAX

Ok so Charmaine (writer @dbskknights) suggested that I write a fanaccount on my experience today and everything I did. I wasn’t going to LAX today because I thought that I wouldn’t make it in time. I took the flyaway bus from Union station at about 9:15 and arrived at LAX a little before 10. I have never been to lax and I was alone so it was a bit overwhelming. I got off at Tom Bradley International on the 2nd floor but was confused because I didn’t see anyone. I was freaking out because I thought they left already. But then I realized that the arrivals were on the 1st floor OTL lol.

I soon saw all of the fans waiting here

They WERE supposed to come out from here but we got tricked!!

There were rumors that they were going to land at 11 am but instead they landed at 10:20 (scheduled to land at 10:30 am) So there everyone was waiting for them to come out. It was like 11 and still no sign of them. I was getting suspicious that they were going to come out from somewhere else. While I was waiting I met some people next to me who said that last time that SHINee came for KMF they used another exit. (the exit was a little to the left of the lighted wall. Then a guy ran up to a man who had a professional camera and started talking to him really fast, they left almost running out of there. I became suspicious so me and a friend who also came alone and I met there, followed them to the other arrival area. There we saw guys in all black with radios and I saw the people who were next to me but disappeared (the ones who told me about the other arrival area).

They were sitting down and telling me to be quiet. I asked what was going on and they said that the artists were coming from here for sure. They already saw about 4 SNSD members come out. So we waited for about a minute and then U-know and Max came out. I was about to drop dead on the spot. It hit me right there that after all those times watching them on my computer screen I was finally seeing them in the flesh. No one screamed when they came out. Partly because I was in shock and they look really hot and I was intimidated by there beauty so I didn’t approach them sadly. U-know just oozed out sexiness and Max has grown up so much. He started smiling after he saw us and started following U-know who still had the same serious and cool expression.

About five minutes later everyone realized that they were coming out from here and that’s when it started getting crazy. Everyone ran to where we were and the some Korean guys in all tan (no idea who they were..body guards probably) Started getting mad and one of them was repeating “aish” over and over again. Then about 3 minutes passed and some of the SNSD members came out. I’m not to familiar with them but they weren’t smiling :( The airport police told everyone that no one was going to come out till we split up towards the middle (it was giant blob of screaming fangirls and fanboys)

After that f(x) came out and I don’t really know them either. The one with the orange blondish hair was smiling and saying hi to her fans though.

Then BoA came out. That was when it got crazy. She didn’t go through the middle of the space that the fans created but through side so the fans then started running after her and not letting her walk.

The came out 4 out of the 12 Super Junior members (included Henry and Zhou Mi). Super Junior is my favorite group so of course I was excited. First came out leader Leeteuk and man this guy never fails to amaze me. He was smiling and greeting fans with the biggest smile on his face. Eunhyuk was right behind him along with Shindong and Donghae (Eunhae can’t be separated). All the boys look so much skinnier in person even Shindong, it’s true that the camera adds 10 pounds. Donghae was way shorter than I thought but who cares because he’s still hot. Yes I was close enough to touch all the artists and I was tempted too but I didn’t because I felt bad.

Then came out Shinee!!! I think a lot of the people there (comparing with the other groups) were more excited to see Shinee. The screaming got louder and so did the pushing. First came out Jonghyun and he was covering his face (he didn’t feel good??), next Key and I swear this boy screams DIVA lol, then Taemin O_O This boy is gorgeous and so cute. You just want to give him a hug. He was wearing a white face mask but you could still tell that he was laughing. I didn’t get to see Minho and Onew because there was a semi-circle around them and they were being covered. Some people started pushing once they got closer to the car and began touching them.

After them came out some snsd members but no one was screaming as loudly for some weird reason. Still shocked from SHINee?? I know I was.

Then came out the second batch from Super Junior. They were lead by Siwon who was such a gentlemen. He was bowing his head slightly to his fans, Yesung followed him and didn’t look like he was okay :( Then came out my number one bias Kyuhyun. He was covering his pretty face with a hat and sunglasses. It felt like he was gone within seconds . Sungmin also came out after him. Next came out Heechul, Henry ( I just want to squeeze those chubby cheeks), Zhou Mi (he looked really tall compared to the others), Ryewook.

They were the very last ones to leaves. They left in mini vans (those soccer mom ones lol). They weren’t expecting it to be so crazy therefore some people were so close that they could touch them. I’m still on cloud nine and wish I can go back because it went by too quick. Can’t wait to see them actually perform this Saturday!!! XD I know this is really long but I didn’t want to leave anything out for those of who didn’t get to go.

Avex Group Holdings reported on the 30th a total budget surplus of 3 billion yen (≈ 35.5 million USD) for the quarter of April-September of this year, compared to a deficit of 476 million yen (≈ 5.6 million USD) in the same quarter of the prior year. It was previously predicted that their surplus would reach 500 million yen (≈ 5.9 million USD).

Besides being able to lower the producing cost for their popular artists' albums last quarter, their profit also came from the great sale result of "ONE PIECE" Theme Song Compilations and DVDs.

Total sales of this quarter worth 58.9 billion yen (≈ 698 million USD), up 1% compared to the same quarter of the prior year; and this number exceeded their expectation by 3.3 billion yen (≈ 39 million USD). For the third quarter of the year, the CD sales of JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN are expected to accelerate their total sales. Besides, the releases of "ONE PIECE" Character DVD Boxes and Theme Song Compilations are also expected to be another source of their sale acceleration.

Its operating profit is 5.4 billion yen (≈ 64 million USD), which is 3.2 times their profit in the last quarter and exceeded their expectation by 3.9 billion yen (≈ 46 million USD). By purchasing the original recordings of the popular artist Tohoshinki from other recording companies, the company was able to cut down the cost of production for their best album. However, since that was also one reason that accelerate their sales in this quarter, their full-year outlook still remains unchanged.
