[TRANS] Hero Jaejoong turned down cast offer for Iris season 2

KBS2TV drama Iris, the Iris production representative explains, “We are already planning Iris season two, filming will begin in May of next year at the earliest.”
According to the representative, they already have plans for Iris season two; they will be filming in China, Japan, Europe, and other locations.
Iris lead actor is predicted to not be able to take a part in Iris season two, due to his already scheduled Hollywood film. Aside from him, other actors have possibilities of reappearing in season two, but until now nothing have been confirmed.
Related person informed reporters: “There was a proposal of having DBSK’s Hero Jaejoong to appear in Iris season 1. Also have him appear in the first season grand finale episode 20, then in season 2 have him officially appear, but this could not happen because Jaejoong turned down the part. Now we are looking for an actor to play the part.”

joongie should be focusing on dbsk especially during hard time like this, he should prove to SM, fans and other people in the industry that he should prioritize his group more than anything if he stiil wants to continue dbsk , not break up and not trying out another solo activities at least not yet. Heavens postman is enough for now. Thats why he turned it down.
Dont get me wrong, he can do solo activities next time but not now, especially with the lawsuit thingy not settled yet and all the issues regarding dbsk. He's just too busy to be acting. Singing is his no.1 priority. There's just alot of thing is his mind right now, why would he be thinking about doing a new drama? that just add up more problems and work in his life.
BTW, even though IRIS may be a Korea's hit drama right now, "English" in the drama sucks (no offence). Even the simple word "success" is spelled wrong. English grammar is probably worse.
I'm glad Joongie turned it down. He should know what he should be doing and he does.

I agree with Anonymous 11:53 too, though the thought of watching Jejoong for like 20 episodes sounds very very interesting, but he should prioritize DBSK, he belongs to DBSK. Glad that he's wise to turn it down. There will be another chance for him, trust me..
im gald he turned it down. jaejoong is a singer not an actor. sure he can explore the acting world later but not at a sensitive time like this. plus heaven postman just release that is a big step already. jae doesnt need to be in iris to get his acting across. thats like using another person work to get him to be recognize jae doesnt want that. he want to find success his way.
i admit jae in an action movie will loads of guns would be hott but the ratings for iris is just average. compare to the star cast and production expense the drama barely made a profit. -.- so its acturally iris that is using jae popularity to get better ratings. another reason im glad he turned it down. sequels are almost always a drag to watch. diffent people story gets draggy and cant live up to the prequel name.

He priorized first TVXQ, but what about him??. Sometimes I think JJ need to be a little selfish, if he wanted survive in Entertainment. Some of you say, he can do acting later...when?? he is getting older, he need to have more experience too.
Even Chanming will be doing acting in future. And Yunho already have a kdrama in his curriculum, but not a good one, still YH improved his acting. Yoochun have more experienced too, because he was acting in many banjun dramas and as a guest-actor in other drama too. Junsu?? well he isn´t a good actor but he will be doing musical acting.
For some people who say JJ is selfish and greedy, I hope you get a hint after this...JJ turned down a big opportunity for becoming a famous actor,just because he loves so much TVXQ.
