[NEWS] 091124 Selling Tickets Without Government Permission, TVXQ Fans are Complaining to SM
>> Tuesday, November 24, 2009

TVXQ fans has filed a complaint to SM (CEO Kim Young-min) to relevant department about the starting of ticket sales of Shenzhen concert scheduled on last November 21st before getting any permission from China government.
On last November 16th a complaint file entitled “SM Entertainment ignores China’s Administrative Procedure-A concern to China Cultural Exchange Inhibition” was received by Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism from TVXQ fansite DNBN.
“According to the complaint filed in homepage of Department of Cultural Affairs, the official approval for TVXQ concert that was supposedly held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China was out on October 28th, however the ticket sales was already accomplished at the end of September, eventually SM had sold concert tickets without any permission from the Chinese government.” the fansite pointed out their complaints.
“Eventhough now there’s a ticket refund for the audiences that are supposed to go to the concert hall, however it’s still not considered transportation costs, visa fee to enter China for especially foreign audiences including the opportunity costs damage everyone has suffered.”

In particular they continued, “SM ignored the administrative procedure as they announced the concert to public in the process of China’s approval. This unreasonable South Korea Entertainment ticket sales could leads to national image damage as the Chinese government would think other South Korea singers may do the same act of holding concert before getting any permission.”
“Usually SM artists’ concert is held at least 4-6 months after gaining the permission, thus this process of Shenzhen concert is definitely unreasonable.”
Towards this accusation, SM official responded on the 24th to Star Money Today, “TVXQ’s 3rd Asia Concert in Shenzhen is their 12th stops which was planned already when the contract with Dream Maker was signed back then in July 2008. Under the agreement, all aspects that are related to the concert including ticket sales and permission approval from local government are obliged to Dream Maker.” he said.
“Therefore, the claim of selling of TVXQ concert in Shenzhen ticket without any permission from Chinese government shall not be directed to SM.” he strongly refuted. “We also had contacted Dream Maker earlier about the plan to conduct the last November 21st-scheduled TVXQ Asian Tour in Shenzhen and they confirmed that there’s no problem at all in ticket sales and any related legal procedures.”
Dream Maker, in other side, explained, “For this last stop of concert in China, the Ministry of Culture of RRC autorizhed TVXQ’s concert in last October 21st. ‘The content of Korean TVXQ Guangdong (Shenzhen) concert agreement is ratified by the Ministry of Culture [2009] No. 2146′”
SM said, “(related to fans’ complaint) the permission approved by the Cultural Affairs of Guangdong Province issued on October 28th was unrelated to the ticket sales permission, it’s merely about visas for foreign artists which will perform and relevant documents and information submission.” he also added, “Because the cancelation of concert in Shenzhen, we’re now in the situation where have to pay for the damages. As we already sold the tickets, canceling a concert is definitely not our intention. In the future we hope there’s no more false claim like this being refrained.”

What BS.
SM is just...ugh.
more trouble for SM
yeay!!!
sm u sucks!!!
I have a feeling SM had planned this whole scenario from the very beginning. They knew JaeChunSu would win the lawsuit and would ignore their deadline on 12th and would refuse to attend the concert if no contract was seen; so SM didn't bother to ask the government permission in the first place; because they were gonna cancel it anyway (although they did it, cause fans already bought the tickets). The concert in Shenzhen was intended not to pull through. This whole thing was planned to destroy JaeChunSu's image as the ones who bailed out from the concert. And when this didn't serve the purpose (because all fans still support them and the lawyer came out with the fake signature), SM pulled another card on his sleeve: the lawsuit between the Crebeau's branch in Shanghai against the boys and the main cosmetic company. The content of this lawsuit was again to damage JaeChunSu's image as the one who bailed from their promise and at the same time, still emphasizing that the lawsuit between SM and those 3 is all about the cosmetic company. These things: the deadline, the Shenzhen cancellation, the fraud and the government permission, all news came out less then a week. Definitely fishy.
But one thing for sure that I know, JaeChunSu are not stupid and are stronger than what we think. They wouldn't have fought against SM if they hadn't thought of everything. And, someone or something strong is silently supporting them. Not just the cassies. I've been wondering about this for awhile. Who got to see the Chinese government permission in the first place? Where did he or she get it? Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think that kind of thing is easy to get. And, where did the boys' lawyer get the fake signatures from? I thought SM wouldn't give the concert's contract to them. Every evil move SM makes to destroy JaechunSu's image, someone comes out with a rebuttal. Like someone with higher force is helping us. Anyway, just some insight. Faith, everyone.
@Pei Fei Faye: Exactly! I absolutely agree with you!
Woooo! Pei Fei Faye! You are so right! AKTF!
if u live many years in china, u will know this things are pretty normal, the company which sold the ticket must have some goverment background, so before they got permission they are sure they will get it. Those fans must dont know anything about chinese business.
Pei Fei Faye,, I think you're right,, you can look the big difference between the ticket for shenzen and bangkok.. it seems they're make it half-hearted,, the "credit card look" for bangkok and just merely a paper for shenzen..
SM, how low can you go?
*sigh* SM really REALLY has no shame >___> And they name themselves as the best music entertainment in Korea??? What a hypocrisy...
Pei Fei Faye: i agree with you too but it wasnt hard to get the fake signature. sme sent them to china where the tickets were sold to "assure" fans of the "confirm" concert withe the boys attedance -,- i would like to say th higher power that is backin the boys up is the five shiny stars in the sky call cassiopeai ^^ cassie have been really mature all over the world and been a major contributor to the lawsuit... petition advertising sme evil doin thru newspaper doing charity work under dbsk name sueing sm sendin complaints to all the ministry. ect cassie have done superbl n lot.
its not hard to connect the dots. look at the big pictures. when jaechunsu did not respond to the deadline sm immediatly attacked them with the cancel concert. its always sm that have been attackin jaechunsu. isnt it ironic that in reality its jaechunsu that is suein sm for illict doing. but of course sme media play manipulations are always how they play the game. n once again they refuse to admit defeat pushin the blame to dream maker.

You are sooo right on this and personally I'm proud of such Cassies as you ^^ Overall I'm proud of Cssies reasonable thinking & their coolheaded decisions about SM things related. Yes we really matured as a Cassiopeia but still there are "fans" who will doubt or judge the boys and I'm glad that the real Cassie are always there to correct them ^^
I think SM sure under estimateed the cass.
I don't think there's any FC that helps their beloved artists fight in every way that they can like the cass.
Thus using media to distort JCS image was harder than they expected cuz we don't believe in SM.
When this case started, I was so afraid for the boys because media fight is difficult for them while SM can use it very easily since they have the power. But I, too, forgot how strong the cassy are and that the strength together with the faith can turn the things around.
Here in Thailand, ppl said that our political games are dirty and foolish, but now I see SM, geez Thai politicians become so innocent yet smarter than SM -*- at least the plot they are acting on is not so rubbish like what SM is playing.
it definitely have done so much damage to me. SM must go down!
